Frequently asked questions

Does Hokaido Sushi have lunch specials?
Yes. The Lunch Bento menu has twelve options from $11.95 to $20.95, including chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, kalbi and beef bulgogi, each served with miso soup, salad, rice and a California roll. See the lunch menu.
Is there anything on the menu for kids?
Yes. The Kids Bento Box is $11.95 and comes with chicken teriyaki, shrimp and vegetable tempura, soup and rice.
Are there vegetarian dishes at Hokaido Sushi?
There are several vegetable-based dishes: edamame ($3.95), garlic edamame ($6.95), agedashi tofu ($8.50), seaweed salad ($6.50) and a vegetable tempura entree ($11.95), along with avocado and cucumber rolls. Ask your server about preparation if you have strict dietary requirements.
Do you serve ramen and udon?
Yes. There are five ramen bowls and ten udon dishes on the menu, alongside eighteen donburi rice bowls. The ramen page lists every bowl with prices.
Does Hokaido Sushi have hibachi or teppanyaki?
No — we are a sushi bar and Japanese kitchen, not a hibachi grill, so there are no teppanyaki tables. If you are after Japanese grilled dishes, the closest things on our menu are the teriyaki entrees, kalbi and beef bulgogi.
Is there all-you-can-eat sushi at Hokaido Sushi?
No. We do not run an all-you-can-eat menu — sushi, sashimi and rolls are ordered a la carte, and the sushi and sashimi combinations are the best value if you want a larger spread.
Do you have poke bowls?
Yes. Tuna, salmon and mixed poke bowls are listed with the donburi rice bowls, $17.95 to $18.95 — see the poke page.
How many rolls does Hokaido Sushi offer?
The roll menu is one of the largest in southwest Las Vegas: fifty special rolls, twenty classic rolls, twenty hand rolls and seventeen deep-fried or baked special rolls.
